Meet Ms. Kilbourn

I was born in Gainesville, FL and have therefore been a Gator since birth.  I grew up up in a small, coastal, panhandle town and when it was time to head off to college, I surprised everyone (including myself) by attending FSU.  I majored in Elementary Education and am endorsed in Reading, ESE and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages).  I continued my education at UF where I earned my Masters degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Children's Literature. I recently purchased my first home in DeLand. I taught first grade at Ivy Hawn since the first year it was opened and  I can't wait to share this new media specialist adventure with you all!
